I just bought a chi.. this chi to be exact. It's the goddess of all flat irons. I had a cheap Wal Mart hair iron. I used to have to wash my hair, take it into section, blow dry w/ a round brush THEN go over every piece of hair w/ my cra**y flat iron, again and again. I don't have curly curly hair more like really thick, frizzy, wavy sorta curly but not hair. Totally NOT cute. With the chi, my hair is super soft and looks like I was born with perfectly straight beautiful shiny hair. HA! Now I shower, towel dry and take the chii to it. It takes about 15 min. Discount Farouk CHI I am one of those people who goes to the beauty shop and walks out feeling great about my hair cut but then can't get my hair to look the same way to save me and then become disenamored. I asked my stylist why this was so and she asked me what kind of blow dryer I was using and then recommended this one to me. Well I am a total believer, even though the price was way more than the $20.00 I usually pay for a blow dryer, but it was worth every penny. I haven't had a bad hair day since and I get compliments from people on my hair now. It just feels silkier and in better health. It's all good. Highly recommended.

Discount farouk chiI absolutely love this stuff. I would recommend this to any person that has frizz. It makes my hair feel so silky smoothe. I started using it about 2 months ago and cannot stand to go without it. Just use a little because it can make your hair look oily if you use too much and don't put it close to the scalp either for the same reason. I tried the Chi Silk Infusion because I thought they would be the same since they are both made by Farouk but the Chi is not nearly as good. I would give this 100 stars I could.

Discount farouk chiI really enjoyed my Nano CHI iron while it lasted (RIP 7/06-11/06), it handles well, it's a great straightener, and it's a pretty color. However, I dropped it approximately two feet, onto a carpeted floor, and it stopped working. I purchased the CHI about four months ago and think that a $120 iron should be a bit more resiliant. I'll still purchase CHI products, but wouldn't recommend investing in the Nano Technology just yet...there are a few kinks that still need to be worked out, and it's not worth having to pay an extra $35 to have it repaired. This review is from: CHI Turbo Auto Digital Ceramic Spring Curling Iron 1 1/2" 1 ea (Misc.) I am by no means a hairstyling guru, but this product is easy and comfortable to use. It is quite large in size, complete with a comfort grip handle, so I don't expect those who travel lightly like I do to be packing it along for excursions. The temperature control is a definite asset, and ranges from 200-400 F. I typically set my iron to 400 F, a temperature reached in about two to three minutes -- no complaints! The tool maintains its heat evenly so that curls are uniform. I haven't encountered any problems with heat damage to my hair, either, although I do not curl my hair more than twice weekly. The one problem I do face when using this CHI curling iron is that the results do not last terribly long -- usually not more than six to eight hours (and consequently not overnight). I have thick, moderately straight hair that falls a few inches below the shoulder. This iron may in fact be better for someone with longer hair. If I were to complete this transaction over again, I would have bought the 1" iron because the large diameter of the 1 1/2" curling iron does not create many ringlets due to the fact that my hair is not very long (i.e. at or below my shoulder blades). I would certainly recommend this product to others, however, because of its ease, heat retention, and (I hope) durability. Discount farouk chi
